Serious traffic accident in Bremer Kreuz
Three people were seriously injured in a traffic accident in Bremer Kreuz early Friday afternoon. A 28-year-old VW Golf driver wanted to drive from the A27 motorway towards the A1 and crashed into a Renault. According to previous investigations, the young man had previously been involved in a minor traffic accident at the Bremen-Vahr intersection. Here there had been a collision with an Audi, following which the two cars had not stopped. The 73-year-old Renault driver was freed from his vehicle by firefighters and taken to hospital. His passenger and the 28-year-old man who caused the crash were also taken to nearby hospitals by the emergency services. At the current stage of the investigation, the 28-year-old who caused the accident did not have a driving license. The A 27 motorway had to be completely closed from the Sebalsbrück interchange in order to register the accident and collect evidence. This closure will last until early evening. Both cars involved were completely damaged in the accident and had to be towed. The amount of material damage is estimated at over 25,000 euros. The police have launched an investigation into the incident and specifically ask any witnesses who may have information about what happened between the two incidents to call 04202-9960.
