Zollernalbkreis: The Zollernalb working group BE CAREFUL IN TRAFFIC is again offering several full-day training seminars for “older drivers” in September. Three seminars, which will take place on
10/12 and 13 September 2024,
from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
in 72479 Straßberg, in the Schmeienhalle
The organizers cordially invite you to another event on September 11th.
The main topics are:
– The “older, active driver” – Legal changes in road traffic (driving instructor/TÜV engineer) – Immediate measures at the scene of an accident (DRK/police) – Practical driving exercises (ADAC/police) – Medication and road traffic (lawyer/doctor)
Both individuals and groups can register for the event.
A contribution towards expenses of 38 euros per person is charged for the day events. This fee includes lunch, coffee in the morning and afternoon, and conference drinks.

In the Zollernalb district, traffic accidents involving senior citizens rose again significantly in 2023 compared to the previous year – by 19.4% to 468, the highest level in a five-year comparison. Six people died in these accidents (six senior citizens). 31 people (including 19 senior citizens) were seriously injured and 121 people (including 67 senior citizens) were slightly injured. (ak)
