1. Burglary in a bicycle shop – Hanau

Already on Saturday, at 2:50 am, unknown authors entered a bicycle shop on Johann-Carl-Koch-Straße in the single-digit house number area. According to current knowledge, the perpetrator or perpetrators entered the business premises through a broken window and stole two high-quality e-bikes for a total value of around € 16,000.

2. An 18 year old gets out of control and has an accident – Wächtersbach

On Sunday, 1:35 am, a patrol from the Bad Orb police station spotted a Mazda from Gelnhausen that needed to be inspected. However, the driver accelerated and tried to escape along a dirt road, where he lost control of the car and had an accident. A possible reason for the 18-year-old’s escape from Gelnhausen is that there were prohibited items in the vehicle and the young man is suspected of driving under intoxicants. The vehicle suffered material damage for around 2,000 euros. No one was injured during the accident.
