Robbery on consumer market – Rödermark
Late Monday evening there was a robbery at a consumer market on Konrad-Adenauer-Str. in Roedermark/Urberach. At around 7:40 p.m., a male perpetrator entered the discounter and, pointing a gun at him, demanded cash from the cashier who was alone in the store, which he packed in a light brown cloth bag. The robber then fled on foot, undetected, in the direction of the Bulau leisure facility. The cashier was not injured in the act. There is currently no information about the amount of money stolen. The perpetrator was described as follows: 25 – 30 years old, about 175 cm tall, muscular build, was masked during the crime and wore blue jeans, sneakers and was otherwise dressed in dark. A police helicopter was used to support the search in the Rödermark/Urberach area. Witnesses are asked to contact the criminal police in Offenbach on 069/8098-1234.
