1. No violations due to wild fishing – Offenbach
(aa) After the fisheries inspection on Friday, police commissioner Katharina Zeisler drew a positive conclusion: “We found anglers at various points and checked them. No violations of wild fishing were found.” Between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., Zeisler, her colleagues from the Traffic Safety Directorate/Special Services and employees from the lower fisheries authority and the veterinary office of the city of Offenbach were out and about on the banks of the Main. Eleven people were checked at the time. The police and public order office will continue to keep an eye on anglers in the future.

2. Vehicle damaged within an hour – Heusenstamm
(jm) The police in Heusenstamm are looking for witnesses after an accident escape that occurred on Sunday evening within an hour on Nieder-Röder-Weg. Between 9:15 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., an unknown person apparently drove past a black Renault Megane parked on the right-hand side of the road and drove on. The property damage is estimated at around 2,000 euros. Witnesses who can provide information, please call the police station in Heusenstamm on 06104 6908-0.
3. Fire on the balcony of a high-rise building – Dietzenbach
(aa) Police and fire brigade forces responded to a fire in Marktheidenfelder Weg early on Monday. Around 0.30 a.m. there was a fire on a balcony on the 15th floor of a high-rise building. The fire spread to the apartment after a window burst. Their residents were not at home. According to initial findings, no one was injured. The damage is estimated at 50,000 euros. The police have taken over the investigation into the cause of the fire.
4. Hit and run in the parking lot – who can give clues? – Dietzenbach
(jm) Anyone who was out and about in a parking lot on Etruskerstrasse on Friday morning could have witnessed a hit-and-run accident. An Opel owner parked her car in the parking lot in front of a school between 7:15 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. During this time, an unknown vehicle hit the right side of the black Astra. However, the polluter did not take care of the damage of around 2,500 euros and made off. The Dietzenbach police are now asking for information on 06074 837-0.
5. Attackers on taxi drivers fled without loot – Kripo is looking for witnesses! – Dreieich/Sprendlingen
(jm) An unknown person slightly injured a taxi driver on Sunday evening in the Kurt-Schumacher-Ring. According to initial findings, the perpetrator opened the door of the standing taxi at around 9:35 p.m., threatened the driver with a knife and demanded cash. In a subsequent scuffle, the taxi driver was slightly injured in the hand. The attacker abandoned his plan and fled without taking anything. He is said to have been between 20 and 30 years old, 1.70 meters tall and slim. He has short black hair, a three-day beard, was wearing a brown jacket, brown trousers and a hat. The Kripo has taken over the investigation and is now looking for witnesses. Please call them on 069 8098-1234.
6. Shop burglary – Seligenstadt
(jm) Unknown persons broke into a shop on the street “Freihofplatz” on Saturday night. Between 6:00 p.m. and 9:45 a.m., the burglars gained access to the store by breaking down a door. Among other things, they took watches, jewellery, pocket knives and lighters from the sales room. Witnesses who have seen people or vehicles in the Freihofplatz area should contact the police hotline on 069 8098-1234.

1st robbery at garden party – Maintal
(aa) Uninvited guests turned out to be robbers on Saturday evening at a private garden party on Landesstraße 3209 (direction Bergen-Enkheim). Around 10:35 p.m., about ten young people showed up at the celebration in the allotment garden association. When they were asked what they wanted here, two perpetrators hit two 17-year-olds, robbing them of a fanny pack and glasses. The fanny pack was found shortly thereafter in the vicinity. One victim was taken to the hospital with a suspected broken nose. The other youth suffered a lacerated lip and bruises on his torso. The two perpetrators were about 18 years old and 1.80 meters tall. One was wearing dark jogging pants. The accomplice was carrying a dark fanny pack. The criminal police are asking for further information on 06181 100-123.
