On October 22nd, 24, a traffic accident occurred in Greifswald on Schönwalder Landstrasse at around 4 p.m. with one person slightly injured and extensive property damage. An 84-year-old woman was driving her Nissan car on Schönwalder Landstrasse in the direction of Anklamer Strasse. At the traffic light intersection there, she ignored the red light of the traffic lights and collided with an Audi car that was crossing the intersection in the direction of An der Sandfahrt. The 38-year-old driver from Greifswald was slightly injured and was taken to the Greifswald Clinic for an examination. Both cars were no longer drivable and had to be towed. There was material damage amounting to approximately 20,000 euros. Those involved in the accident are German citizens.
