A serious road accident occurred at the Auestadion intersection this Monday afternoon, in which a Mercedes crashed into two stationary motorcycles and two cars. According to previous information, two motorcyclists and a passenger were injured, two of them seriously, but apparently not life threatening. The injured were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals. To clarify the exact course of the incident, an expert was involved in the investigation.

According to the registration officers of the Mitte police station, the incident occurred around 2:30 pm. According to the current state of the investigation, a 61-year-old from Vellmar was driving a Mercedes on the “Am Auestadion” road in the direction of Ludwig-Mond-Straße. For reasons not yet clarified, he bumped into the two motorcycles waiting one after the other at the red light.
