BOCKENEM v NETTE (inherited). On December 26, 2022, around 20:00, careful road users reported a black Kia Picanto with Hildesheim license plates to the police, which showed a noticeable driving style on the route from Upstedt via Nette to Henneckenrode. The car passed a stop sign, drove in wavy lines and was too slow.
A hasty radio patrol from the Bad Salzdetfurth police was able to stop and control the car on the highway in the forest area between Nette and Henneckenrode. Even in the presence of the police, the driver showed clear signs of breaking down. Bad Salzdetfurther told the police that he was just tired. While the influence of alcohol at the scene could be ruled out, there was a suspicion that the 56-year-old was possibly under the influence of other substances and agents such as drugs.
The man, already unable to drive due to his condition, had to leave the car and take officials to a nearby office, where a doctor took blood from him. The purpose of the blood test is to determine whether or to what extent the man has been affected.
