On the afternoon of June 4th, 2022, around 3:00 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the L182 between Friedenweiler-Rötenbach and Löffingen-Göschweiler. A 46-year-old car driver lost control of his vehicle due to inappropriate speed and left the roadway, where he collided with several trees. The car was severely deformed by the impact and the driver was trapped in the vehicle.
The driver of the car suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter. The L182 had to be closed for several hours to record the traffic accident and recover the vehicle involved in the accident.
When recording the accident, it was found that the driver of the car did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver of the car was also suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, which is why a blood sample was taken from him. The car driver is being investigated on suspicion of endangering road traffic and driving without a license. The investigations are being conducted by the Titisee-Neustadt police station.
