Pokimane claims she booked a ticket back to Canada because she “shaken up” a Supreme Court ruling

Twitch star Pokimane says she plans to return to Canada after US Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade.

Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys is the most followed woman on Twitch and one of the most followed streamers on the site overall.

Although Anys currently lives in Southern California with her two cats, she is actually from Canada, where she and her mother immigrated from Morocco when she was about four years old.

That aside, she’s considering returning to the “Great White North” following the US Supreme Court’s recent ruling.

Pokimane is one of the biggest names on Twitch.

On June 24, 2022, the The United States Supreme Court vacated Roe v. Wade A 1973 case in which the constitution protected a woman’s right to an abortion.

Many influencers have spoken out in the wake of this ruling, including Pokimane, who shared her thoughts on the matter on a Twitch stream the same day.

Pokimane shared her thoughts on the development of Roe v Wade on Twitter.

“The news from Roe v Wade is absolutely terrible,” she said. “I tweeted about it. I retweeted a few things. I loved a few things. It’s just hard, because what else can we say at this point?”

“We said everything. It’s depressing. I booked a ticket back to Canada. How do you know?”

“It’s annoying,” she continued. “I can’t even choose. And I give these motherf**kers millions. Millions! …high key, I’m considering just dipping. Goodbye!”

She went on to “suggest that we all move somewhere else together” before moving on to other matters.

While it’s unclear whether or not Pokimane has actually made any plans to move back north, it’s clear that she’s upset with the current procedures in the states, where she’s the most wanted Twitch streamer in the whole country.
