During this weekend, the Pokémon World Championship will take place in Yokohama, Japan, the most important competition of the successful franchise and where the best exponents in the world will meet in the different games associated with it.
The competition in this way will host tournaments for Pokémon TCG (collectible cards), Pokémon VGC (Pokémon Scarlet & Violet), Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE, all with representatives from all over the world, who had to qualify through a series of regional competitions that were held throughout the year.
The event that will take place this August 11, 12 and 13 will have among its ranks a considerable number of Chilean representatives, who will try to win and be crowned as Pokémon masters.
The event, which has been taking place for several years, lands for the first time in Japan, and will have a series of related activities such as the opening of a temporary Pokémon Center store between August 9 and 13 or the presentation of the NHK Symphony Orchestra .
