We recently told you about a great attraction that would allow fans to connect with nature and today the company announced a new initiative that will not only delight fans of paleontology and children who love dinosaurs, but also fans of the franchise. in general.
We say the above because today The Pokémon Company gave a glimpse of the Pokémon Fossil Museum Tour, which, as its name suggests, will be a paleontology exhibition with the theme of fossil Pokémon.
The great attraction of this collaboration is that visitors will not only be able to learn more about real extinct species that lived millions of years ago and see their fossils, but the relationship with fossil Pokémon will be shown, by the hand of excavator Pikachu, which will serve as guide to this exhibition.

Learn paleontology from the hand of Pokémon
As you can see in the video below, statues of fossil Pokémon from different generations of the series will appear in the selected museums and the relationship between these fantastic creatures will be established with species that really existed and that served as inspiration to create Pokémon such as Aerodactyl. , Archeops, Amaura, Tyrantrum, Cranidos, Shieldon, Kabuto, Omanyte and Anorith.
Another very striking attraction is that for the first time The Pokémon Company will show the skeleton of some fossil Pokémon with scale models, such as Tyrantrum and Rampardos and the bone structure of others, such as Cranidos and Aerodactyl, will also be shown through key chains and more merchandise. official available on-site, such as t-shirts, posters and stuffed animals
Pokémon Fossil Museum will only be available in Japan
This exhibition will be the product of a collaboration between The Pokémon Company with various museums in Japan and will be available on various dates and will be traveling. The initiative started on July 4 in Hokkaido (Mikasa City Museum) and will leave this region on September 20. This exhibition will also temporarily appear at the Shampeo Museum of Nature in Shimane Prefecture (Fall 2021), the Tokyo National Science Museum (Spring 2022), and the Toyohashi Museum of Natural History in Aichi Prefecture (Summer 2022).
More destinations are expected, but The Pokémon Company mentioned that it will reveal more information when it’s ready. Unfortunately, the confirmed locations are only in Tokyo and it is unknown if this collaboration will reach more countries.
