Time for some nostalgia because from September 23, 2022 you can go to Netflix for Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles. This new animated film brings Ash Ketchum back to the Sinnoh region and in touch with the legendary Pokémon that this special is named after.
After Nintendo starts this year with Pokémon Legends: Arceus launched a new game, it was obvious that a movie would follow in the same theme. The striking, and innovative, about this Pokemon game is that it takes you back in time. It is set in a period when humans and Pokémon did not yet live in harmony with each other. Also all the electronic gadgets to keep track of which Pokémon you encountered on your way were not invented then.
Arceus
The game is therefore named after Arceus. According to the stories, this legendary is the very first Pokémon ever and in that way also the creator of all other Pokémon in the entire universe, a kind of PokéGod.
We also see the same theme in Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles. This special was originally released in Japan as a four-part miniseries called Pokémon Journeys: The Series. But soon the English version of it will come to Netflix as an animated film. Therefore, Ash, Goh, Dawn and Brock will delve into the history of the Sinnoh region and meet the great creator Arceus. They will also have to face their classic enemy Team Galactic there.
Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles will have its world premiere at the end of August on the 2022 Pokémon World Championships in London. From September 23, the film will be available to everyone on Netflix.
