Sales of the game “Pokemon Scarlett and Violet” exceeded 5 million copies sold this week, according to Japan’s top sales list, Thursday.
And the game ranked third, with more than seven thousand copies sold in Japan during the past week, despite the fact that the game was released on November 18, on Nintendo Switch devices.
It is a multiplayer action-adventure role-playing video game and is the first installment in the ninth generation of the Pokémon video game series.
It is noteworthy that the game, which came from the development of Jim Freak, and published by Nintendo of America, was nominated for the “Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice” award for the favorite video game.
