The Pokemon Company has announced the launch of its new installment Pokémon Legends: ZAwhat will arrive in 2025 for Nintendo Switch and that will choose Luminalia City as its setting, in the Kalos region, in addition to including Mega Evolutions.
This is what the company has shared within the framework of its Pokémon Presents news eventwhich took place this Tuesday coinciding with the celebration of Pokémon Day, commemorating the launch of the franchise’s first video games.
Specifically, the new installment of the saga is being developed by Game Freak, and according to Pokémon explainedIt is a new adventure that will take place in Luminalia Citywhere an urban development plan is being launched to turn the city into “a perfect place for humans and Pokémon.”
Luminalia City is located in the Kalos regiona scenario in which the installments of Pokémon X and Y, released in 2013.
Also, Pokémon Legends: ZA will once again incorporate Mega Evolutions of Pokémon, a mechanic that consists of making certain Pokémon acquire a more powerful form during battles, thanks to mega stones.
Although the company has not shared more details about the game, it is the first main installment of the franchise after the launch of Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Purple and Scarlet, which were made available to users in 2022.
