Niantic announced that Scraggy will replace Larvitar in August in the extraordinary discovery of Pokémon GO. In addition, the hours of the Pokémon featured in the new month have been revealed.
Scraggy, the Pokelapse Pokémon, will be in the extraordinary discovery from 22:00 on Saturday 1st August 2020 to 22:00 on Tuesday 1st September 2020. We will be able to get the daily stamps thanks to the field research that will come to us as a bonus every day, without having to go and get it in a Pokéstop!

The hours of the featured Pokémon that will take place every Tuesday at 18:00 (local time) are confirmed and the protagonists will continue to be both a Pokémon and a special bonus:
- August 4, 2020: the Pokémon in the foreground will be Horsea and you will get double the amount of candy by catching Pokémon.
- August 11, 2020: the Pokémon in the foreground will be Sableye and you will get double the amount of candy by transferring Pokémon.
- August 18, 2020: the Pokémon in the foreground will be Venipede and get double the amount of XP by evolving Pokémon.
- August 25, 2020: the Pokémon in the foreground will be Geodude and you will get double the amount of stardust by catching Pokémon.
We also remind you that the events ofUltra Bonus which were unlocked thanks to participants of the recent Pokémon GO Fest:
- Dragon Week will be held from 22:00 on Friday 31 July 2020 to 22:00 on Friday 7 August 2020. The majestic Dragon-type Pokémon are present in all shapes and sizes, from the tiny Gible to the towering Exolautor of Alola. This week will be their moment of glory! Rayquaza will be available in five-star raids and there will also be a special-time quest available only this week. If you are lucky, you may encounter a chromatic Deino.
- The puzzle week will be held from 22:00 on Friday 7 August 2020 to 22:00 on Friday 14 August 2020. The Pokémon of the event range from the mysterious Elgyem to the powerful Deoxys. Deoxys will be available in five-star raids and, if you’re lucky, you can meet a chromatic one. You may also encounter a chromatic Staryu.
- Unova week will take place from 22:00 on Friday 14 August 2020 to 22:00 on Friday 21 August 2020. Sewaddle, Cottonee, Emolga and Bouffalant, originally discovered in the Unova region, will make their debut in the world of Pokémon GO! Bouffalant will make an appearance in New York and surrounding areas. Genesect will be available in five-star raids and, if you are lucky, you can meet a chromatic one. You may also encounter a chromatic Roggenrola.
