This week is full of emotions in Pokémon GO with announcements that have surprised trainers.
Part 1 of the Winter Holidays has already shown us what to expect, and now, with Part 2, the fun continues.
New Pokémon with Holiday Outfits
From December 25 to 31, 2023, trainers will be able to encounter two new Pokémon in festive outfits: Psyduck y Golduck. But that’s not all, you can also delight in a new shiny Pokémon, the shiny Vanillite!
Event Bonuses
During the Winter Holidays, trainers can choose between receiving double XP or double Stardust when catching Pokémon. Additionally, there will be an increase in XP and Stardust when opening gifts.
Timed Investigation
As usual, trainers will be able to participate in a free, branching Timed Research. Your choices will determine the tasks and bonuses you receive.
Wild Encounters
Winter Festivities Part 2 features an exciting slate of wild encounters, including Pikachu, Alolan Vulpix, Eevee, Cetoddleand many more in festive outfits.
Exclusive Opportunities for Amazon Prime Members
Amazon Prime Trainers have a chance to get an exclusive Sweater with Scarf avatar before it becomes available in the in-game store. Additionally, they will be able to purchase tickets for additional Timed Investigations with two options.
Paid Timed Research Tickets
Additionally, Pikachu in a festive outfit will have a better chance of being a Shiny Pokémon if it is in Raids.
Raid Calendar
- One Star Raids: Pikachu, Alolan Vulpix, Cubchoo, Crabrawler, Cetoddle.
- Three Star Raids: Dewgong, Lapras, Delibird, Glaceon with underwater attire.
2 km Egg Hatches
2km Eggs will offer an increased chance of obtaining Eevee with festive hat and Psyduck in festive attire as a shiny Pokémon.
Field Research Tasks
Field Research Tasks offer encounters with themed Pokémon, including Pikachu, Alolan Vulpix, Psyduck, and many more.
Thematic Articles and Exhibits
In the in-game store, trainers will find new avatar items to add a festive touch to their appearance. In addition, they will be able to display their themed Pokémon at different PokéStops.
