Earlier last week we already announced that there is an update on the way to Pokémon GO, but until now version 0.167.0 was not available for most players. It has now been announced last night that Pokémon GO version 0.167.1 is on its way. This usually means that problems have been found in the first version that require a version update update.
The dataminers have not yet done any datamine and therefore we do not yet know whether there are major changes to the code, or whether only a few minor changes have been made. Provided this version is good, the update for iOS and Android will appear sometime this week.
