From October 23 to November 24, UGC cinemas open up to a new dimension of entertainment.

The augmented reality mobile video game developed by Niantic is coming to the 49 establishments on the circuit, which will offer exclusive PokéStops and arenas around the Pokémon Go Gigamax experience.

« This collaboration brings together communities of gamers and movie buffs, while reinforcing UGC’s ambition to make its cinemas places of life and culture open to all. », declares Maxime Schmidt, director of brand, communication and digital at Cinémas UGC.

Since its launch in July 2016, the Pokémon Go game has become a true cultural phenomenon, with tens of millions of “trainers” every month tracking and capturing virtual creatures… in the real world. Enough to attract a very playful audience to the cinema halls!
