Every year, fans of Pokémon GO meet for the GO Fest, an event where trainers can raid and catch creatures together. This time it will be done virtually, and will feature, among other things, two new Pikachu skins.
These will be Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star, two new variations of the many that the beloved Pokemon has in the mobile game. Today, the developer Niantic gave us the first official and in-depth look at the first of these aspects:

Both designs originate from Lights, camera and Pika-action!, an episode of Season 18 of the Pokémon series. Was a special issued in 2015, in which a film director wants to make a movie with several Pikachu in cosplay.
