What is special trading in Pokémon Go?

All Pokémon that appear in Niantic games can be traded between friends.

Pokémon Go Special Offers are trades that occur between players when they trade a specific type of rare Pokémon. All in-game transactions require Stardust. Special offers reduce the cost of Stardust and add new items to your Pokedex..

The following types of Pokémon are considered “special offers” in Pokémon Go:

• Pokémon not registered in the Pokémon Pokédex
