Niantic just announced that Pokémon GO Routes is live for all players in the world. To be precise, this applies to walking routes that have already been created. However, route creation is still live for a select few players and is being rolled out in phases. It is not known at what rate this is going. The following things have been announced:
Pokémon GO Routes is now live for everyone You can start routes from your Nearby menu (we don’t see them yet, they may take a while to be live for everyone) When you are nearby you can start and walk the route Along the way you can find Zygarde Cells to eventually create a Zygarde You will receive the following bonuses: A badge the first time you walk the route You get faster Buddy candy Incense is more effective the first time you walk a route You get extra XP for every first route you complete per day t You get extra buddy hearts for completing a route
