The Pokémon Company has launched Pokémon Air Adventures, an initiative launched in Japan to help create new travel memories after the world begins to return to normal after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. To start this initiative, the mobile game Pokémon GO has received a new special Pikachu sporting an Okinawan kariyushi shirt, appearing in the mobile game from July 22, although only in the Japanese city of Okinawa.
This new special Pikachu will appear for more than a year in Pokémon GO, inviting players to visit Okinawa in order to capture one. The Pokémon Company has announced that this initiative will involve the inclusion of more Pokémon in disguise than will be available only in certain regions of the world.
Corsola shiny premieres in Pokémon GO
Pokemon GO will also receive this Tuesday June 22 at Corsola shiny, being able to be found only in certain regions. After all, the inclusion of this varicolored version is also part of Pokémon Air Adventures to encourage players to create new travel memories when they can leave home again.
