Pokémon Go launched an event featuring a new Dark-type Pokémon in the game. While this is often a cause for enthusiasm, the players of Pokémon Go They didn’t like his looks very much and call it a “missed opportunity.”
Dark Lugia, which was added to the video game yesterday, has a similar appearance to the common Lugia, but with a dark halo. Usually this would be a good thing, but Dark Lugia is not a new species in Pokémon Go. First appeared in the GameCube title Pokémon XD: Dark Tempest, and his appearance was drastically different. On Pokémon XD: Dark TempestDark, Lugia has a gloomy appearance with purple colors instead of the usual white.
The event kicks off this November 9 and gives your players the opportunity to add Lugia to their collection. His dark state frustrations can be cured with the use of charged TMs.
You will find this Pokémon in Giovanni’s possession during the event. Since joining, fans have been criticizing Niantic for not using his GameCube skin.
Perhaps in the future, with player feedback in mind, Niantic will add an authentic GameCube Dark Lugia to the game, but for now, you’ll have to settle for its usual look.
