Niantic makes it for players of his smartphone game Pokémon GO Due to the spread of the new Coronavirus easier to play the game without taking to the streets, the company announces on its website. The game normally encourages players to explore as much of the real world as possible by looking for Pokémons with a smartphone in hand.
The game now makes it possible for all players to buy thirty items for one digital coin with which Pokémons come to the player without having to go out. The thirty pieces work for one hour, which in theory allows a player to play for thirty hours without leaving his home.
Players who do take to the streets don’t have to walk as far to hatch their Pokémon eggs. Normally players have to cover a distance of up to 10 kilometers. Time is cut in half for players who, from this point on, place an egg in a virtual portable incubator.
Niantic is canceling Twitter that the company wants to put more emphasis on functions for people who Pokémon GO play individually. The changes will continue until the US company announces that the offer will be discontinued.
