One of the new things Pokémon GO received last year was the Mega Evolutions and it looks like this year we will have more. What is happening is that recent information seems to indicate that Mega Ampharos is coming to the game.
According to information from PokéMiners, a group of Pokémon GO dataminers, Mega Ampharos is already in the game’s files. This is why it is believed that it is only a matter of time before it is added to the group of. Mega Evolutions of Pokémon GO.

It should be noted that, for the moment, no images of Mega Ampharos have been released in Pokémon GO. That said, there are already some important details in the game such as its stats, which you can check out below.

According to the data, to perform this Mega Evolution for the first time, you will need 200 Mega Ampharos energy units. Each subsequent use will require 40 units of energy.
Note that this information does not confirm that Mega Ampharos will be the next Mega Evolution, but it points in that direction. Niantic has promised that it will be January 19 when we meet the next Mega Evolution in the game. We’ll be on the lookout to let you know.
