Stampede of Bidoof in Pokémon GO: all the details
The Bidoof Stampede event kicks off on Friday, June 25 at 10:00 and will remain active until Thursday, July 1 at 8:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time). Once you’ve completed the event-exclusive Field Research, one of the main draws will be the appearance of wild Bidoofs – in their Shiny form if you’re lucky enough – in raids and encounters. Here are the most important features.
- Special attacks– On some specific days within the timeframe in which the event will remain active, you will find Bidoof capable of performing attacks that they cannot learn under normal conditions. On Thursday, July 1, you can use a Charged Attack Elite TM to achieve the same result.
- Lightning: A Bidoof capable of using Lightning? It is possible, but only between Sunday June 27 (00:00) until Monday June 28 (23:59)
- Ice Beam: to enjoy the powerful ice-type special attack you will have to take advantage between Tuesday June 29 (00:00) until Wednesday June 30 (23:59)
- shadow ball: The quintessential attack of the ghost-type Pokémon will be available from Friday, June 25 (10:00 a.m.) to Saturday, June 26 (11:59 p.m.)
- Gift stickers: You can get them at PokéStops and by opening gifts.
- Bibarel with Hperrayo: If you evolve into Bidoof at any time within the event period, you will have a Bibarel (normal-water) capable of performing the fearsome Hyper Beam attack.
- Dark bidoof: Team GO Rocket couldn’t sit still; Bidoof will appear turned into Shadow Pokémon during the event.
Double, triple and quadruple experience per capture
On several specific days while the Bidoof Stampede event is active, you will have the opportunity to multiply the experience gained by catching Pokémon. Friday 25, Sunday 27 and Tuesday 29 will grant double, triple and quadruple experience, respectively. The schedule is the same for everyone: from 10:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. the next day.
