In 2018 they started with 1 restaurant in Antwerp, today they have 38 in Belgium and the Netherlands, and 15 more will be added this year, including in Germany. Things are going extremely fast for Hawaiian, a chain that sells 16,000 poke bowls every day. Bowls of rice, vegetables such as avocado, cucumber and edamame beans, and finely chopped fish, meat or meat substitutes.
According to the age on their identity card, founders Mattijs Hermans (30), Ashkan Shah (30) and Albano Gozhina (30) are still green behind the ears.
