This fresco, created by the artist Patrick Hernandez, was financed by the Brigade academy. That police associationwhose members of the office work at the multi-municipal police force of Épône-Mézières, is at the initiative of this space for 3-15 year olds in this traumatological emergency service.

They also gave digital tablets for the Samu ambulances to occupy the children and filled the waiting room with games.
“A room like this allows our little patients to have a little cocoon, to have distraction and to be less focused on the pain. They will find themselves in a child’s world and no longer be in the general waiting room where they see things they shouldn’t. »

Cohesion day on September 10 in Épône
The Academy Brigade, born in March 2020, organized its first cohesion day, in 2021, where 3,500 people came. The objective of these days is to bringing the police and the population closer together, at the local level, and to break stereotypes, like what the national association Raid Aventure does. “After this day, we decided to do something with the profits at the local level. We had this idea following a discussion with a nurse from Smur. A young mother was injured in the face, with an open wound, and her children were shocked to see so much blood. We then thought of financing two tablets to occupy them, especially when their parents are in the emergency room. We still had money so we decided to also finance a fresco! At the start, it was supposed to be a small character, but the graffiti artist, with whom we work regularly, got into the game and covered the whole wall. » The association is organizing its next cohesion day, the September 10, at the room at the end of the world in Epône. She hopes to receive as many people, if not more, than last year.
