Court Iran sentenced to blind one of the three defendants’ eyes in cases in which victims lost one of their eyes. This sentence was imposed under the law governing punishment kiss in that country.
As reported AFPWednesday (3/8/2022), the three convicts whose identities were not identified were found guilty by Iranian court has carried out an attack or been involved in an incident that left the victim one-sided.
Tehran local newspaper reports, Hamshahrisaid that one of the defendants who was sentenced to ‘an eye for an eye’ was a woman.

It said the woman threw acid at another woman in a 2011 dispute. As a result of the acid attack, the victim lost one of his eyes.
Iran’s Supreme Court, says report Hamshahrihas strengthened the punishment of gouging out the woman’s right eye, in addition to prison terms and fines.
In another case, a man was sentenced to the same sentence for causing his victim to lose one of his eyes in a knife attack in 2017.
In a third case that occurred in 2018, a man was found guilty of blinding a friend in his left eye with a hunting weapon. Report Hamshahri calling the victim ‘insisting’ that her assailant suffer the same fate as her.
