The fact that Red Bull Salzburg have once again built an exceptional team was clearly evident in the home game against WAC on Sunday. Even if captain Andreas Ulmer and Co. struggled against the deep opponents throughout the entire game, they were not satisfied with the goalless draw, but played forward until the last second and absolutely wanted the win. And that despite the fact that the Bulls’ batteries were anything but full after the fight against Bayern Munich, after all one of the best teams in Europe. Due to the clear lead in the table, the Bulls could have afforded a draw against a pursuer. The young Bulls team under coach Matthias Jaissle is not satisfied with a point against any opponent, only wins count for them. Although the legs were getting heavier, the league leaders did not give up and once again showed a remarkable mentality – and was rewarded late. With this will and the undoubtedly high quality, the young bulls can do anything in the premier class second leg in Munich.
