POI-P calls Jokowi’s meeting with FX Rudy unrelated to the “reshuffle” talk.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – POI-P General Secretary (General Secretary) Hasto Kristiyanto said that the meeting between President Joko Widodo and PDI-P DPC Solo City Chairman, FX Hadi Rudyatmo was unrelated to the speech reshuffle Advanced Indonesian Cabinet.

“For Pak Rudy is breath, and his soul is red, POI Perjuangan, so various political discussions also took place. But this is not related to reshufflesaid Hasto in a virtual press conference on Year-End Reflections online on Friday (12/30/2022).

He said he contacted Rudy right after meeting with Jokowi at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta on Monday (26/12/2022).

Hasto said, Rudy admitted meeting with Jokowi only shared his desire.

“We know that Pak Jokowi’s leadership process was inseparable from the intervention of Ms. Megawati Soekarnoputri, who obviously got input from Pak Rudy about Pak Jokowi at that time,” he said.

He stressed that as a senior politician, Rudy’s input on the country’s political dynamics is also needed in Jokowi, including the question of the interests of the PDI-P.

“So the meeting was also in the framework of nostalgia, but as a senior politician, of course, we discussed various issues related to the party’s interests,” he said.

The talk of dismantling the formation of the Indonesian Onward Cabinet is known to have resurfaced after Jokowi’s statement at the inauguration of the Ciawi and Sukamahi dams in Bogor, West Java on Friday (12/23/2022).

“Maybe (reshuffle),” he said shortly.

On the other hand, Rudy also denied that the meeting with Jokowi discussed the reshuffle.

He stated that he would be staying in Jakarta and taking the time to meet with Jokowi.

“I didn’t discuss anything, my people passed by. When I come here (Jakarta), I’ll report it to the Menseneg. If I have free time, I don’t stop at Sowan (in Jokowi), that’s all,” Rudy said when he was met by journalists, Tuesday (27/12/2022).

He also emphasized that he did not discuss anything about the political dynamics.

“There is no political discussion, no government discussion, no PDI Perjunangan anniversary discussion. What is there is a joke conversation between me and him,” she said.
