Pogba Wants To Prove Manchester United Wrong, Gary Neville Gives A Shocking Reply

Jakarta

Comment Paul Pogba who want to prove Manchester United already made a mistake by taking it off got a response from Gary Neville. What did the former MU say?

Paul Pogba was released by Manchester United on a free transfer this summer after his contract expired. The French international midfielder was not offered a new contract.

In his documentary, The Pogmentary, Pogba said he wanted to prove that United were wrong for not giving him a new contract immediately.

Pogba’s comments got a reply from Gary Neville. The former Manchester United defender who is now a pundit thinks that Pogba has also appeared inconsistent in his second period with the Red Devils.

“Honestly I’m not bothered by Pogba’s comments,” Neville said on his TikTok account as quoted Metro.

“I think once a player leaves, he can say whatever he wants. It’s okay. But I don’t think he’s done well in the last six years either.”

MU had time to take off Paul Pogba for free in 2012 to Juventus before re-signing him for a transfer value of 89 million pounds four years later. Six years in the Red Devils uniform, Pogba only led his club to win the Europa League and English League Cup in 2016/2017.

“I don’t think the club did well with him either, or handled him well. It’s a partnership that, to be honest, failed on both sides so that’s what you have to say,” continued Neville.

“There are no winners when a player leaves after six years with money already spent and very little has been won,” said Gary Neville.
