“Chuck’s Game” – that’s how the authors of the idea called the chamber concert. This will be an original and never-before-played program, which brings together actors Karīna Tatarinova, Kaspars Kārkliņš, musician Roberts Dinters and video and lighting artist Dainars Albužis.
Addressing and inviting visitors to the event, which is rich in different moods, the artists have described it as a musical interplay – Chuck’s stories, depictions, lights and poetry, as well as excerpts from the Liepaja Theater performance “Playing a Gambler”. The presence of Chuck himself will also be felt at the event, the role of the poet will be played by Kaspars Kārkliņš.
The musical part of the event will consist of songs by composer Imants Kalniņš and, as promised by the organizers of the event, also songs by lesser known or unknown authors. The mood of the planned evening is concisely described as “life, poetry and dreams”.
The event in the garden of Liepāja Museum is free for visitors. You must bring a valid ID and Covid-19 certificate in digital or paper form when you go to the event. A document check will be provided at the entrance.
A program of poetry days is available on the municipal website.
