The lyric poet, Muhammad Atef, sent an angry message to the Saudi singer, Muhammad Abdo, after the controversy he raised because of his comment, “If Egypt or the Saudi world is its father,” and his question to the media, Abdullah Al-Mudayfer, “The Pyramid or the Haram?!”.
Muhammad Atef, commenting on what the Saudi singer mentioned, during his appearance on the “Al-Liwan” program, and on his Facebook page, he wrote: “Egypt is the mother of the world, because its longevity called Egypt, it was not the land of the Hijaz, and after that they called it Saudi Arabia in the year (1932) AD. And it is not possible to compare the sanctuary with the pyramid, O Hajj Abu Noura, you are a great man, a defect, not a peace.
The Saudi singer, Muhammad Abdo, appeared in a video clip, from the “Al-Liwan” program, asking a question to the journalist, Abdullah Al-Mudayfer, and saying in it, “The pyramid or the sanctuary?”
Muhammad Abdo, after he was subjected to widespread criticism, because of his controversial comment, in which he said, “If Egypt is the mother of the world, Saudi Arabia is its father.” He appeared with the journalist Abdullah Al-Mudayfer, and commented on his saying, and said, “I did not mention Egypt badly. I love Egypt, and it has great merit.” on me”.
And he continued, “I did not touch Egypt badly, it is the meeting place of civilizations, which taught us in schools, and treated us in hospitals, and it has great credit for me and the entire Arab world.”
The Saudi singer added, “When I said Saudi Arabia is the House of the Arabs, I was welcoming and directing my words only to those present.”
The Saudi singer, after the concert he performed as part of the Riyadh Nights sessions, appeared in a video clip, and said: “Saudi Arabia today is (House of the Arabs), if Egypt is the mother of the world, Saudi Arabia is its father.”
