Residents of Podolsk near Moscow in Russia have not had access to heating for more than 3 days due to a break in the heating main of the local cartridge plant.
Details: It is reported that on January 4, as a result of improper operation by employees of the Klimovsky Cartridge Plant, heating mains broke in the city.
In this regard, for several days now residential premises, as well as medical, educational and preschool institutions have been without heat supply and hot water.
A state of emergency was introduced in the city. It’s about 20 degrees below zero there now.
The city’s mayor said heaters and blankets were distributed to people. The accident was reported corrected on Saturday, but residents still report a lack of heating in their apartments – more than 170 houses were left without heating.
People complain that it is about 7 degrees in their apartments, and they often turn off the lights because many people turn on electric heaters at the same time.
