RMC has for many years initiated a radio / TV / digital strategy which has made its trademark to become a model of production and consumption.
Since then, RMC has found, poll after poll, the results which confirm the relevance of this approach, which aimed to increase the number of initiatives to support the new behaviors of the French.
On Thursday, December 7, Médiamétrie published the results of the podcast measurement for the month of December 2020.
RMC: 1ST PRIVATE RADIO ON PODCASTS
With 17.4 million listenings in December 2020 *, RMC confirms its leadership:
• “After Foot” with 8.3 million listenings, for the 4th month in a row above 8 million, appears as one of the most downloaded podcasts in France
• “Super Moscato Show”: 3.2 million plays – Since its re-entry, the show has more than 3 million plays per month since October.
• “Les Grandes Gueules”: 2.3 million listenings – 4th month in a row above 2 million listenings.
• Record for the month of December for the morning show “Apolline Matin” at more than 670,000 plays – + 7% compared to the previous month.
• “The Memory Box”, the show where the members of the Dream Team RMC talk about their sports career and private life, broadcast from December 24, has already exceeded 100,000 listeners.
In addition, RMC achieves new audience records for its mobile application, website and social networks.
RMC APPLICATION AND SITE: HISTORICAL RECORD IN NOVEMBER
In 2020, RMC recorded an annual average of 3.8 million Unique Visitors **, i.e. + 28% compared to 2019 (3 million), including a historic record in November with a total of 5.1 million Unique Visitors .
SOCIAL MEDIA: HISTORIC RECORD OF 740 MILLION VIDEOS VIEWS
RMC reached its historical record on social networks with a total of 740 million videos viewed *** on all its platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube), an increase of 69% vs 2019 (437 million videos viewed within this same scope in 2019).
Very soon, RMC will announce new initiatives with in particular the launch of a new meeting on Snapchat.
