Podcast Princess Amalia’s life may have been turned upside down unjustly. So says Yehudi Moszkowicz, the lawyer of the 40-year-old Amsterdammer who was arrested in November 2022 on suspicion of preparing to murder or kidnap the crown princess.
The messages found that led to the man’s arrest were about ‘a violin teacher from Amalia who provides information’. In the new episode of the Crime de la Crime podcast, lawyer Moszkowicz says: ,, This was investigated and it turned out that Princess Amalia had not had violin lessons for eight years and the teacher had died just as long. (…) My client was no longer involved as a suspect two days after his arrest. If it is a mistake, two people’s lives, my client’s and the Crown Princess’s, may have been turned upside down unjustly.”
In addition to the issue of the heavily secured Crown Princess, Peter Schouten and Onno de Jong look ahead to the continuation of the trial against the suspects in the murder of Peter R. de Vries in this episode. De Jong: ,,It is a very important session, so we have decided to devote an extra episode to this next week, which we will record and put online immediately after the last session.”
Crime de la Crime is the podcast of criminal lawyers Peter Schouten and Onno de Jong about law and justice.
