“The great stories of the east”, the historic podcast of L’Est Républicain, Republican Lorrain and Vosges Matin
“The great stories of the east” is the podcast devoted to the history of Lorraine and Franche-Comté produced with the editorial staff of L’Est Républicain, Le Républicain Lorrain and Vosges Matin, designed and produced by Grégory Barbier and Emeline Piucco.
Each season of five episodes looks back on a significant event in the history of our regions, in Lorraine and / or in Franche-Comté, its consequences and its various aspects. How these historical events have marked us, how they have had repercussions in until today, sometimes even in our everyday life.
We tell you the story in several episodes with the help of testimonies from historians, specialists and journalists who have worked on the subject and shed light on these important events.
In this podcast, we will come back to events in contemporary history (the storm of 1999 for example) such as older stories (the war of 1870, the quest for Joan of Arc) but still having a strong link with the Lorraine and Franche-Comté.
