Podcast De Dag: what does NSC think about Wilders?

Pieter Omtzigt’s New Social Contract comes with twenty seats in the House and plays a key role in the formation of a possible new cabinet. It was cause for celebration within the party, but concerns soon arose. Because does NSC want to collaborate with the other big winner: the PVV? A sensitive, principled and moral issue that not only Pieter Omtzigt but also the rest of his faction struggles with.

There are different opinions about it, says political reporter Nouschka van der Meijden in the podcast De Dag. She follows Omtzigt’s party for the NOS and explains who the people are who are now talking to each other about what they want with NSC.

Is there already such a thing as an NSC party culture and can Pieter Omtzigt manage to prevent divisions within his party? “Everyone is now focusing on the content, but ultimately it is also about people who have to look at each other and think: do I want to go on this adventure with you?”
