In the podcast AD BZV Café, TV columnist Angela de Jong and presenter Manuel Venderbos discuss the recent developments in Farmer Seeks Woman with a regular panel every week. Who or what stands out? Have you seen any matches yet? Farmer Haico in Denmark revealed to Ellen that he ‘never got further than writing’ when dating. “Have you ever kissed anyone?” Ellen asked bluntly. “No,” Hairco answered honestly. “There’s a first time for everything,” she said. “A little later for some than others,” he said, after which Ellen went a step further. “How does it feel now that you think there is a possibility that that will happen? Not just kissing, but other things too?” Haico: “Very exciting, because I have never experienced that before.” Angela de Jong: ‘Look Yvon Jaspers, this is how you have an intimate conversation with farmer Haico. I think we have just seen Yvon’s successor at work.’
A little later, Ellen confessed to the camera that she ‘of course wants to be the first to kiss him’. “When you like someone, that’s a tickle you get,” she said. That will be exciting for Angela de Jong. “I don’t rule out that Ellen will be the first to kiss Haico, but I also see something between Haico and Jasmijn.”
Butterflies
Just like for Haico, a kiss still seems far away for most. It takes some getting used to for farmer Bernice in Sweden, Claudia in France, Richard in Slovakia and Piet in Germany. Although Eugenie hopes to give the latter farmer a chance. “Why do you think I’m wearing something with butterflies?” It just feels really good.”
Furthermore, the AD BZV Café focuses on ‘important matters’ such as the very mediocre stretcher at farmer Piet, whether you pronounce muesli as ‘musli’ or ‘muusli’, on the Slovakian egg salad, a bell with a horse’s head and on the emotional texts. from Bob (from farmer Claudia) who seems to have similarities with farmer Rob from the previous season.
