Launched The Poco brand, affiliated with Xiaomi, has released its new smartphone, the Poco
The two phones share more than just color, as the hardware is completely identical between the two phones, and it also matches the phone designated for China, the Redmi Note 13, which is a different phone from the global phone Redmi Note 13, also called Redmi Note 13 5G.
The Poco X6 Neo is the third model in the lineup after the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro. Confusing lineup aside, the first Neo phone in the Poco family comes with a 5G-capable Dimensity 6080 chipset.
The chipset is coupled with LPDDR4x random access memory of either 8 GB or 12 GB with UFS 2.2 internal storage space of either 128 GB or 256 GB.
Xiaomi provided the phone with an OLED screen measuring 6.67 inches, with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a brightness level of 1000 nits per square meter with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection glass.
The screen contains a hole in the upper part for the 16-megapixel front camera, while the back contains a dual camera with a 108-megapixel main lens and a 2-megapixel depth lens.
The new Xiaomi phone comes with the MIUI 14 user interface based on the old Android 13 system, although the Poco X6 Pro phone comes with the HyperOS user interface based on Android 14. It is guaranteed to receive two Android system updates and four years of security patches.
The 5,000 mAh battery supports 33-watt charging, and there is only one speaker on the bottom side, and the earphone does not work as a second speaker.
The device has an IP54 rating for resistance to water splashes, features a flat frame design, is 7.69 mm thick and weighs 175 grams.
The device uses a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side. It also comes with an audio port and an IR blaster, though it lacks a MicroSD card slot.
