Jakarta: Poco’s newest smartphones in Indonesia, which were introduced on June 30, 2022, namely the Poco F4 and Poco F4 GT are scheduled to go on sale today, July 7, 2022. Both were introduced as Poco’s first smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Today Poco Indonesia shares news that fans of the brand in Indonesia may receive with disappointment. On Poco Indonesia’s official social media channels including the upload of Andi Renreng’s Facebook account as Poco Indonesia’s Head of Marketing, it was stated that the Poco X4 GT would not be present in Indonesia.

“Dear Poco Fans. Thank you all for your enthusiasm for the Poco X4 GT. We are also aware that there are many questions about this product. However, due to several considerations, we decided not to bring the Poco X4 GT to Indonesia,” Andi wrote in the same post shared by Poco Indonesia’s social media.
“But don’t worry, you can stay #Fearless with #POCOF4! A complete package of fast performance, stable photos, and fast charging. Stay #Fearless, POCO Indonesia,” he added.
The Poco X4 GT itself was launched globally on June 24. Poco X Series is a line for middle-class smartphones or is under the Poco F Series. The Poco X4 GT uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset.
Despite having a similar name, the Poco X4 GT doesn’t have the advanced L1/R1 trigger button features like the Poco F4 GT. But of course the Poco X4 GT should be priced cheaper or affordable.
In Indonesia, the Poco F4 GT comes at a price of Rp. 8,999,000 which has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Looking at the specifications and sophistication, the price is worth sticking to the Poco F4 GT.
