Poco will hold an event on the 22nd, when it should probably make the Poco X3 Pro official, and the company has already started to reveal some of the news that the new smartphone will come. On Wednesday (17), the Chinese confirmed that the launch will be equipped with one of the most resistant screens on the market.
In a video posted on Twitter, Poco India revealed that the new device will be protected by glass Gorilla Glass 6, present in many of the premium smartphones launched throughout 2020, such as the lines Galaxy S20 e Wed 10. Although the manufacturer keeps a secret about what the model’s name will be, the teasers allude to the word “Pro”, going according to rumors that the launch of the Poco X3 Pro would be close to being revealed.

According to rumors, the new Poco X3 Pro would be an improved version of the X3 NFC, launched in Brazil at the end of last year, but it would not be positioned in the intermediate segment: more recent leaks pointed to the presence of an unprecedented high-end processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 860, plus options with 6 or 8 GB of memory RAM and 128, or 256 GB of internal storage.
Regarding the screen, the information lists an AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, settings that don’t match a more basic smartphone. However, it seems that the device will present cuts in the camera department – even to justify the price relatively below average. Four rear sensors are expected, led by a 64 MP main.
It seems that the launch of the Poco X3 Pro should take place in Europe on the 22nd, while the Indian market, where the Poco brand has a large presence, is expected to receive the smartphone only on the 30th of the same month.
