POCO will launch the newest POCO X5 5G cellphone in early February

The smartphone company POCO Indonesia will launch its newest product, the POCO X5 5G, in early February. This smartphone is equipped with the advantages of the Snapdragon 695 chipset which is the best in its class.

POCO Indonesia’s head of marketing Andi Renreng said POCO was excited to introduce the newest product to be launched in the near future.

“There will be a lot that can be done with POCO X5 5G, for example playing games, whatever entertainment can be bulldozed,” Andi Renreng said at a media gathering for the launch of the POCO X5 5G in Jakarta, Monday.

He said the use of the Snapdragon 695 chipset on this cellphone matches the characteristics of the POCO X5 5G which is the target market for X series fans. He called this X series the king of Midrange phones.

“We have launched the X series several times before, because the X series is known as the king of the Midrange or The Real Midrange Killer,” said Andi.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm Indonesia senior business development manager Dominikus Susanto said the chipset used by POCO X5 5G is a new chipset released in 2022. And the technology presented is actually better than the Snapdragon 7 series on smartphones in its class.

“For the Snapdragon used in the POCO X5 series 6 which is already above, namely 695. This was only in 2022 and includes a new chipset, not old-fashioned. This Snapdragon 695 has advantages that are on par with its generation,” explained Susanto.

He said that the selection of technology used by POCO X5 5G also uses 6 nano meter technology so that it shows a more agile processor. In addition to a capable processor, this smartphone is more energy efficient and can be used longer to be able to play games and stream music to videos.

5G connectivity supported by this cellphone is also increasingly the target of buyers who are waiting for new technology with a better processor than the previous POCO series.

“What’s different from the previous series is that it’s 5G, so it’s future proof. Besides that, usually the AnTuTu range is in the 300,000 range, now the AnTuTu range is in the 400,000,” said Jeksen, POCO Indonesia Product Marketing.

Since it was first introduced in Indonesia, the POCO X Series has become a favorite smartphone for the younger generation because of its gaming capabilities. But now, through the launch of the POCO X5 5G, POCO wants to target a wider market with better performance.
