POCO, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, is now getting ready to launch a new smartphone. The smartphone is said to be the POCO M4 Pro, as the successor to the POCO M3 Pro. As we know, the POCO M3 Pro was introduced in the global market earlier this year and officially entered Indonesia last May.
Now, the successor of the POCO M3 Pro, the M4 Pro, has passed the certification body. The smartphone appears with the model number 21091116AG and it looks like this device is aimed at the global market. It is possible that POCO will bring the smartphone to the Indonesian market.
It is Abhishek Yadav and Kacper Skrzypek who have recently found the application for the POCO M4 Pro certificate on the internet. It is stated that the device will be powered by a chipset from MediaTek and have support for 33W fast charging technology.
Although not many detailed specifications are mentioned, this smartphone is expected to be launched in the near future given that it has passed the certification process. Just to remind you, the POCO M3 Pro, which is a mid-range smartphone, is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset from MediaTek.
Meanwhile, for its appearance, the POCO M3 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch screen and has a FullHD + resolution. No less interesting, this smartphone screen also has a 90Hz refresh rate and a screen-to-body ratio of 91 percent. POCO M3 Pro also brings 5G technology, up to 6GB LPDR4X RAM and 128 UFS 2.2 ROM.
In the camera department, the smartphone comes with a 48 MP main sensor in a triple camera setup, coupled with a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro lens. Taking care of users’ selfie and video calling needs is the 8 MP front camera.
The smartphone runs the out-of-the-box Android 11 operating system with the Xiaomi MIUI 12 custom user interface on top. The POCO M3 Pro is also backed by a 5,000 mAh battery and comes with support for 18W fast charging technology.
