POCO M3 Phone Explodes in India, Cause Still Investigated

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Another incident of burning and exploding of a cell phone occurred, this time on POCO M3 owned by users in India. The news was shared by a person claiming to be the victim’s brother named Mahesh (@Mahesh08716488) through his Twitter account.

In the deleted upload, Mahesh did not explain the details of the incident, only sharing a picture of the condition of the cellphone and a little description. The image shows that his brother’s POCO M3 was badly damaged, with the rear from the middle all the way down. “My brother’s POCO M3 cell phone exploded this morning,” he tweeted on November 27, 2021.

LITTLE acknowledged the problem and replied to Mahesh’s post saying that customer safety is very important and takes the matter seriously. The POCO team in India is currently investigating the cause. “And ensure that the issue will be resolved as soon as possible,” POCO India told 91mobiles.

According to POCO, all released devices have gone through various levels of rigorous quality testing. “The aim is of course to ensure that the quality of the device is not compromised at any level,” he said.

Incidents of burning or exploding a cell phone is not the first thing that happened, especially for POCO. In India Also, last September, a similar incident occurred and involved the POCO X3, as well as other brands such as the Vivo phone that caught fire during shipping, the OnePlus Nord 2 which exploded in a pocket, and the Xiaomi brand has also experienced it.
