The smartphone brand, POCO, has confirmed that it will release the latest smartphone from its F series globally, which is the POCO F6 series on May 23, 2024.
The two cell phones consisting of the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro will be released in Dubai at 15.00 local time or 18.00 WIB on Thursday (23/5).
The release of the smartphone will be live streamed through various social media channels owned by POCO and will be announced closer to the release day.
This was confirmed by uploader X @POCOglobal who tweeted, “Getting ready to see the latest POCO F6 series”.
The event had a theme titled “HyperPower Evolved” which seemed to reinforce the idea that the successor to the POCO F5 series will have even more sophisticated performance than its predecessor.
In a GSM Arena report, on Monday, the Poco F6 Pro is expected to be the Redmi K70 that was released in China but renamed for the global version.
If true, this cell phone will be supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will have a 5,000 mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Poco F6 starts with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which certainly makes for an interesting performance comparison between the two.
The Poco F6 is also reported to have a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 20 MP selfie camera with an OmniVision OV20B sensor.
While the F6 Pro also gets a 50 MP main camera, along with 120W super fast charging support.
