- The POCO F5 series is set to make its global debut
- Both phones will get super performance
- Most likely, however, it will not be complete news
Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the POCO F5 series, which will stand out between the price/performance ratio. Some time ago we informed you about the Pro version, which should offer, among other things, a chipset Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 and it will be about rebranded Redmi K60. This has been sold in China for some time. Yesterday, information about the basic POCO F5 also appeared on the Internet.
The basic POCO F5 will offer a chipset Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 combined with 12 GB of RAM, which was also confirmed by the official account of Snapdragon on its Twitter. According to the company, the novelty has to offer compared to Snapdragon 7 Gen1 up to 50% more performance, 13% better energy efficiency and twice the machine learning power.
By the way, it is also speculated that that POCO F5 will be rebranded as Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is only offered in China, which probably wouldn’t surprise us too much. This would mean that we can look forward to a 6.67-inch 12-bit OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits, a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W charging or a 64Mpx main sensor.
