Pochettino wanted to bring Tanguy Ndombele to PSG

Mauricio Pochettino (49) apparently did not get a transfer request fulfilled in the winter transfer period. Tanguy Ndombele is said to have been the object of PSG coach’s desires.

According to information from the online portal Goal, Pochettino asked the club officials in January to sign his former Tottenham protégé – in vain. Sports director Leonardo is said to have informed the trainer that he had to make do with the existing player material.

Pochettino apparently found the staffing in central midfield to be too thin. But his wish was not granted. Although Ndombele left White Hart Lane for Ligue 1 in the winter, he signed up at Olympique Lyon instead of PSG.
